Help spread the word about MIT AgeLab’s OMEGA Summit

Please help us spread the word about the MIT AgeLab’s OMEGA Summit. See below for details:

Are you a high school student in New England interested in creating connections between teens and older adults in your community? Do you know high school students in New England interested in creating intergenerational connections?

The MIT AgeLab is recruiting high school students across New England for a fun, informative, and collaborative event on November 19, 2016 called the OMEGA Summit. The Summit will be an ideal time for high school students to:

  • deepen their understanding about intergenerational programming with teens and older adults: who, what, why, and how
  • brainstorm with students, professionals, and community members ways of strengthening intergenerational connections in their communities
  • learn about college scholarships available for juniors and seniors who demonstrate excellent efforts in building intergenerational relationships

We invite interested students of all high school grades to participate in the OMEGA Summit at MIT in Cambridge, MA on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 10 am-2 pm. Questions/comments can be directed to omegamit@mit.edu or 617-253-3506. RSVP here by November 14, 2016.

Please print and post a flyer in your school/organization/community and forward this message widely.
