What else to know about this candidate:
I am an early career environmental gerontologist looking to work at the intersection of aging and urban planning/the built environment. I have worked in aging research for the past four years (from both a sociological and medical perspective). I am interested in diving deeper into research or practice in how the built environment shapes people’s relationship to their world in terms of transportation, housing, public spaces, etc.

I’m interested in program development, quality assurance/improvement, training/coaching, and/or leadership roles in the field of aging. My objective is to find a position related to healthy aging, improving quality of care for older adults, policy or grants management, or ACO/SCO programs. I’m interested in working in the greater Boston area, as well as remote or hybrid work opportunities.

Skills, Talents & Experience:
As a licensed social worker and gerontologist, with a masters in health administration, I bring a breadth of experience to my next position. My skills include program/project management, training and supervision, effective oral and written communication, working collaboratively across teams, community outreach, research, planning and problem-solving. I have also taught a graduate course in gerontology about end-of-life care, chronic disease management and social determinants of health for older adults.
